Continuing on from part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4 and part 5 with our visit into the past of Nimmeria here is another updated gearsmen guarding Xoud’s lab at the Technic League Compound. This is a melee attacker and anti-caster model. A light version of the boss-mob Bastion.

Gift of the Machine God. As a creature of technology, a Bastion class hunter-killer robot gains many damage and condition resistances and immunities but they are also susceptible to lightning attacks.
Immunity to Magic. Bastion class hunter-killer robot is immune to any spell or spell-like ability. In addition, certain spells and effects function differently against it, as detailed below.
- Magical lightning damage slows a Bastion class hunter-killer robot for 3 rounds, with no saving throw.
- Dispel Magic negates its impeded magic ability for 1d4 rounds.
Impeded Magic. A spellcaster within 30 feet of a Bastion class hunter-killer robot must succeed at a concentration check (DC 10 + the level of the spell being cast Concentration check) to successfully cast a spell — if this check fails, the spell fizzles and the spell slot is wasted.
Reactionary. The Bastion class hunter-killer robot may trade its bonus action to gain a second reaction during any given round of combat.
Multiattack. A Bastion class hunter-killer robot makes two scimitar attacks against the same target. This also holds true for opportunity attacks.
Twin Scimitar Strike, Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target.
Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) slashing damage.
Cascade of Steel (1/day, recharges when bloodied). The Bastion class hunter-killer robot makes two twin scimitar strike attacks (four scimitar attacks total).
Arcane Assassin. When an enemy uses an arcane power the robot may take a move action and makes a twin scimitar attack against the triggering target.
Sudden Strike (1 per enemy move action). When an adjacent enemy takes a move action the Bastion class hunter-killer robot makes a twin scimitar attack against triggering enemy.
This four-armed robot is constructed from noqual which gives it both its green colour and its immunity to magic.
The robot wields mundane scimitars; however, its body is made from noqual which is an extremely valuable substance used in the creation of golems granting them resistance to magic. If each robot is properly recovered it can provide 5,000 gp worth of noqual.
